For Francisco Ponce, coffee is a way of living for him and his family. In the 80s decade, Ponce and his family moved to Honduras due to the political problems and the war that was taking place in Nicaragua. The only who stayed from the family was Francisco’s oldest brother, who, during this time, dedicated to raise cattles, and used the money that he gained to buy 2 hectares of Caturra. When the whole family came back to Nicaragua, Francisco’s brother convince him to stay in Nicaragua to continue working with him in the coffee farm as a family business.
